The Department of Wisconsin VFW Auxiliary proudly presents the 2025–2026 President’s Special Project, Campfire for Courage. This initiative supports PTSD and suicide recovery retreats for veterans and their spouses at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park in Neillsville, Wisconsin. These weekends offer healing, connection, and support for those impacted by trauma.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to sponsor 200 veterans or spouses. Each $500 donation fully covers one participant’s retreat experience.
