WELCOME TO VFW AUXILIARY OF WISCONSIN

Honoring Veterans Together

Welcome to the Wisconsin Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. We are an organization consisting of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandsons and granddaughters of those persons, both male and female, that have honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United States. We believe in Americanism, which has been defined as an unfailing love of country; loyalty to its institutions and ideals, eagerness to defend it against all enemies, undivided allegiance to the flag, and a desire to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and posterity.

We serve and support the veterans, active duty soldiers and their families of the United States. For, they are the ones that put their lives on the line to allow us the daily freedoms we enjoy.

National Home Fall Festival Trip

 COST: $320 for Adult Double Occupancy or $440 for Single Adult Occupancy

  • Includes Bus transportation & Hotel stay at Quality Suites, Lansing, MI. Meals not included.
  • Discount if you register by August 12th, 2024.
  • $300 for Double Adult Occupancy/$405 Single Adult Occupancy
  • Children 12 and under $75 Bus Fee
  • $30 rebate available after trip if 40 people register for the bus trip by September 27th, 2024.
  • Reservation Deadline: September 27, 2024

 

Pickup and drop off location: Pick-up starting at 6:00 AM at Cedar Creek Mall Parking Lot, Schoffield, WI, TRAVELING DOWN THE Hwy 51/39 route. Other locations will be determined based on the amount of applications from different areas of the State.

Second Hotel for CAFE
 

As you may know, there are no rooms left at the National VFW Auxiliary’s originally contracted hotel for CAFE.


Therefore, we have contracted with a second hotel called the AC Hotel in Lansing (which will be known as the overflow hotel). The rate for the overflow hotel is $139/night, but it includes breakfast. See the link below to book your room.

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.

The objects of this organization shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable and educational; to assist the Posts and members thereof of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and its own members whenever possible; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America and fidelity to its Constitution and Laws; to foster true patriotism, to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom and equal rights and justice to all men and women; to preserve and defend the United States of America from all her enemies." (From the National Auxiliary Bylaws and Rituals 2020).
